MAIN ACTIVITIES
For over 40 years, CILAS has been at the leading edge of the modern
technology sector thanks to its unique expertise in laser and optronics
technologies. CILAS develops, manufactures andmarkets products and
systems using these technologies for defence and, civilian andmilitary
security. The company is involved in large-scale scientific laser
programmes as the Megajoule Laser, and in industrial and scientific
instrumentation with optical coatings, deformable optical mirrors for
telescopes and particle size analysers. It also makes shipborne
helicopters landing aid systems.
MAIN PRODUCTS
The DHY 307 ground laser target designator has been
successfully proven in guiding any types of laser-guidedweapons
as bombs, missiles and artillery shells (NATO and others). This
system allows “to illuminate” the target with a laser beam and
guide weapons with final laser guidance with a precision less
than the meter. It is intended to be used as a stand alone device
or mounted on a vehicle.
The eye-safe rangefinders are intended to equip all type of firecontrol
systems. They are used in severe environment and equip
tanks and Tiger helicopters.
The SLD 500 surveillance and sniper detection laser system is
contributing to the protection and surveillance of sensitive areas.
Based on CILAS laser and optronics expertise, the SLD 500
includes the latest active laser imaging and camera technology.
The systemcan detect and locate any kind of optical sight system:
optical scopes used by snipers or optronic sight systems.
The DHY 322 counter-measure system is ideal to avert laser
guided weapons attacks on strategic sites and control centers.
The systemis fully automatic andmulti-directional, and operates
24 hours a day for total surveillance of the area to be protected.
