Eden, the first Defense et Security cluster, founded on November 27th 2008, is dedicated to the international development of companies in the defense sector.
Today, the cluster is composed by 45 SMEs. In 2009, the cluster welcomes European SMEs.
The objective for the SMEs is to achieve economies of scale and benefit from greater leverage in order to be more competitive, in particular by concentrating on four markets in which their potential synergies of expertise is fundamental.
The four sectors :
- Detection, Protection and Surveillance
- Personal protective equipment
- Equipments for aircrafts, ships and vehicles
- Qualification and Services.
