From double twisted wire mesh to advanced geosynthetics, FRANCE
MACCAFERRI develops and produces civil and military engineering
solutions for defence and protection plans, soil reinforcement, erosion
control, prevention and fight against the natural risks building
protection, mobility enhancement and infrastructure works. Simple,
rapid to install and reliable, these solutions have already been adopted
by various Nato forces and by other defence forces.



Protection structure

MULCELLULAR STRUCTURE OF PROTECTION
The multicellular structure of protection is a multicellular structure
manufactured from reinforced double twisted wire mesh that can be
construed very rapidly. It has been designed as amultipurpose product
and its performance is 35 to 40 times quicker than traditional
sandbagging:

Applications :
• Ballistic and blast protection of troops,material and installations
• Observation sites, shooting range, barricades,
• Fuel containment
• Banks restoration, emergency river and flood works
• Hardening of the existing installations (devices anti explosives,
grenades, missiles)

Traficability Improvement
• Restoration itinerary, increased bearing capacity are eased by
the use of geotextiles, geogrids, reinforced products (Roadmesh)
• Concrete reinforcement steel fibers are efficient to reinforce roads,
airfields pavins and tunnels.
InfrastructureWorks
• Box gabions for retaining gravity structures, bridge abutments,
weirs, sills, small dams, banks protection..
• Geotextiles, geogrids and Terramesh for soils reinforcement
