MBDA, a world leader in missiles and missile systems is a multinational
group with over 10,000 employees in France, the United
Kingdom, Italy and Germany.MBDA has threemajor aeronautical and
defence shareholders - BAE Systems (37.5%), EADS (37.5%) and
Finmeccanica (25%), and is the first truly integrated company in its
industry in Europe. With a turnover of € 3 billion in 2007, the Group
produced over 3,000 missiles during the year, with an order book of €
13.1 billion, and over 70 customers worldwide.
MBDA is the only European Group capable of designing and producing
missiles and missile systems to meet the whole range of current and
future operational requirements for the three armed forces (army, navy,
air force). Overall, the Group offers a range of 45 products in service
and another 15 in development.
