MBDA launches production of the first SIMBAD-RC prototype

MBDA has frozen the general definition of its navalised, anti-air SIMBAD-RC turret. The production of the first prototype was launched at the end of summer 2010. This prototype will be available for the first ground-based dynamic tests before the end of this year.

Sagem named prime contractor for RIF-NG new-generation soldier information network

On September 22, French defense procurement agency DGA awarded Sagem (Safran group) an initial conditional tranche worth more than 25 million euros as prime contractor for the RIF-NG, the radio communications and information system for warfighters using the FELIN (1) equipment suite.

The ISL open its doors to GICAT
