Our head of Economic Studies, Jeremy Vigna, was allowed on the site of 01 dB-METRAVIB Limonest March 16, 2010 by Mr Fabrizio PARODI (Commercial Director).
01 dB-Metravib is a French company of 350 people, which makes a total turnover of over € 47 million. International activity which represents nearly 50% of turnover is achieved using a network of 50 subsidiaries and distributors. In the field of Defense, its turnover is around € 3 million, distributes its products in over twenty countries around the world (Europe, USA, Singapore ...), and nearly 90% of its turnover business to export.
A leader in acoustic detection of threats for Defence and Security, the skills of 01-db Metravib covering fire detection, localization and identification of threats and surveillance zone and restricted sites. The skills of 01-dB Metravib in vibroacoustic also apply the robust design and silent equipment, stealth.
The company 01dB-Metravib offers global "products and solutions" in the field vibroacoustic : production equipment, editing software, engineering, expertise, service, research, training, to meet the most diverse in sound and vibration. With over 15 years of technical experience in acoustics from the battlefield, the company also offers its clients expertise and the development of specific projects.
The products and systems developed by 01-dB Metravib are PILARw for detection of fire, and the observation system PIVOT.
01 dB-Metravib is in the cluster EDEN, cluster of Defence, which is partner of GICAT.
Like the previous discussions with our SME members, Mr. Vigna has been able to collect from Mr. Parodi information around-01dB Metravib and better know their expectations against our group, in particular in supporting export. Another example of dynamic SMEs export, specializing in the creation and installation of innovative systems in acoustics.
