Owing to his departure from THALES, whose Vice-President he was, Bruno Rambaud has resigned from his post as Chairman of the French Land Defence Manufacturers Association (GICAT). During his chairmanship, Bruno Rambaud profoundly modified GICAT, and in particular he increased its reputation and influence. His time at the helm saw the grouping increase the number of its members by 20%. The Board of Directors of GICAT unanimously elected him honorary Chairman, and elected Christian Mons, Chairman and Managing Director of Panhard General Defense and first Vice-Chairman of GICAT, to the post of Chairman of GICAT. He will carry out his functions until the next Annual General Meeting in November 2009 at the end of which, as it does each year, the new Board of Directors with one third of its members changed will elect its Chairman.
