Our manager of Economic Studies, Jeremy Vigna, was warmly welcomed at the site of Bayeux on March 3, 2010 by Management of Sominex, Mr Jean-Jacques Benoit (CEO) and Philippe Levilly (Director of defense activities).
Designer and manufacturer of special machines known assembly, Sominex, founded in 1976, has been oriented towards high technology sectors: Defence, Energy (nuclear and oil), Science (bed drying in high vacuum, hadron bench and chassis welded) and Industry (wiring closet and automation, design and integration of high-density map).
Sominex Defence develops innovative products and high tech equipment, such as adjusting bench OPTROFAST range Stabilisator 3000 A1 (universal bench Automatic Control referred optronic weapons infantryman of the future whose goal is to achieve consistency the target point with the average point touched ...).
Sominex Defence also produces carriages test precision for laboratory use including the GIGN, the FBI or by the defense authorities in France and abroad.
With over 34 years of technical experience, the company also offers its clients expertise R & D prototype definition studies following specifications according to production plan file and maintenance of their products. Finally, because of its know-how, Sominex offers training in the area of testing and calibration of the arms of engineering.
Mr. Benoit and Mr. Levilly made to Mr. Vigna visit their offices and workshops of productions (production mechanical and electronics). Like the previous interviews with our SME members, Mr. Vigna has gathered information about Sominex and better know their expectations vis-à-vis our group. Another example of a dynamic SME export, specializing in the creation and installation of innovative systems.
