
This group, created in 1993, realizes in 2009 a 170 million euro turnover, is present in 4 countries (France, Spain, Morocco and Tunisia) and employ 1600 persons on the world. Its skills jobs go of the electronics to the mechanics, by way of the optics and the transmissions, the fine sheet metal workshops, the refractory and composite materials or still the surface treatments.
AER insures the conception and the justification of mechanisms of small dimensions and électromécanismes mainly in the domains of the defense. It carries an entity called ATOB whose activity is dedicated to the preventive and curative treatment of mecatronic, mechanical, micromechanical, hydraulic obsolescence of products and connections. The unit is specialized in the research and the extra re-conception of the same physical and functional characteristics as the products of origin which are not available any more on the market.
ATOB accompanies its customers upstream by the advice and of the day before obsolescence and downstream by insuring a perennisation of products put back on the market.
AER is a member in particular of the GICAN, the GIFAS and the pole ASTECH.
This meeting between Mr. de Cointet and Mr Vigna articulated around a general presentation of AER and its activities. The question of the dismantling of the materials, the withdrawal of the French superfluous materials, the idea of the implementation of a cluster MCO were also in the center of the exchanges.
