Panhard General Defense and the Marck Group collaborate to meet the tactical vehicle needs of an African country.
At the Milipol 2011 trade fair, Panhard General Defense and Sofexi, a subsidiary of the Marck Group, responded to the defense and security procurement need expressed by the Ministry of Defense of an African country that wishes to remain confidential, for the supply of 144 unarmoured, high-mobility tactical vehicles.
The contract concerns 84 type A3 light all-terrain vehicles, 28 type TC10 light 4x4 logistic transport trucks, capable of carrying a payload of 850 kg, and 32 type TC24 light 4x4 logistic transport trucks capable of carrying a payload of 1,650 kg.
These vehicles were manufactured in France on the industrial sites of Saint-Germain-Laval (Loire department) and Marolles-en-Hurepoix (Essonne department).
This contract witnesses the widening of the commercial cooperation between the Marck Group and Panhard General Defense on the African market.
Panhard General Defense: Panhard has been designing and building armoured vehicles for nearly a century. 2,300 units of its VBL light armoured vehicle are currently in service in sixteen countries worldwide, while the French Army has ordered more than 1100 units of its PVP light protected vehicle. In 2010, Panhard generated revenues of more than 100 million euros.

The Marck Group provides a global service, satisfying the needs of demanding and prestigious customers throughout the world. It makes revenues of 70 million euros.
