Renault Trucks Defense and the Spanish group Iturri have just inked a cooperation agreement concerning the assembly, marketing and operational maintenance of Renault

Trucks Defense range of products in Spain. The agreement includes the Sherpa Light 4x4 tactical and light armored vehicles, the Sherpa Medium tactical trucks, the Kerax logistic trucks and the VAB Mark II medium armored vehicle. The objective is to meet the needs of the Spanish armed forces but also some foreign countries.

The Spanish armed forces are to select new vehicles in 2011 to replace their 8x8 - 6x6 - 4x4

tactical trucks and their 4x4 tactical and light armored vehicles.
