Communication and public relations

Communication and public relations

One of GICAT’s roles is to promote the expertise and image of the land and air-land defense and security industry. To do so, the group deploys an influence-oriented communication strategy and provides services to its members to optimize and develop their visibility.

Daily defense and security press review

GICAT teams provide a summarized daily press review, enabling members to keep up to date with defense and security news over the past 24 hours. The press review, a vector of communication for its members, also enables the promotion of certain member actions. The responsive design review is also available for consultation via smartphone and tablet.

This press review is only available to GICAT members and partners.

Visibility and assistance

GICAT provides technical assistance and makes its network available to its members to enable optimized communication. The communication media used by the group, whether printed (brochures, etc.) or electronic (website, mobile application, etc.), are tools to help boost the visibility and notoriety of its members.

Press visits and trips

Every two years, before the Eurosatory exhibition, GICAT organizes two press trips for French and foreign journalists to meet GICAT members, operational and industrial players working in land defense and security sectors.

These press trips are an ideal opportunity to present operational experience feedback, announce innovations present at Eurosatory and promote institutional and industrial expertise to the international market.

Prospective Terre dinners

The Cercle Prospective Terre is a place to meet, exchange and discuss the challenges of land defense with national elected representatives, military leaders, political and industrial decision-makers and opinion leaders, to promote the sharing of experience and the emergence of ideas concerning current and future land operations. At a time when France must optimize the budget resources devoted to its armed forces, the Cercle aims to contribute to the dynamism of the defense debate. The evenings organized by the Cercle concern operational and industrial themes relevant to the sector, based on expert testimonials and witness reports.

These dinners are an opportunity for free debate and exchange with our elected representatives (members of parliament, mayors, etc.) and conveyors of opinion (journalists, researchers, etc.).

SécuriTerre luncheons

SécuriTerre meetings promote discussion between security players from industrial, institutional or private operators. The Cercle SécuriTerre luncheons offer a privileged, restricted environment to encourage free discussion of current affairs or future concerns.

Over the past three years, the debates have covered themes such as security at major international events (September 2015), the export strategy for French cybersecurity (March 2015), the national and international challenges of civil security (April 2014) and the role of technology in prison administration missions (October 2013).
